International Students Department

International Students Department of NNGASU coordinates international recruitment activities, ensures the effective organization of the academic process and educational-methodological work, contributes to improving the quality of implementation of higher education programs and supplementary educational programs offered at NNGASU, as well as promoting NNGASU in the educational services market.

The goal of the Department is to make the stay and studies of foreign listeners and students comfortable and productive.

The Department is engaged in the following main areas:

Consultations: the Department provides advisory support to applicants who wish to enroll at NNGASU, assists in preparing documentation for participation in competitive procedures at the Russian House for obtaining higher education at the expense of budgetary allocations in accordance with the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation for the education of foreign citizens. The Department provides information on visa matters, medical insurance, housing, and other aspects of life in a new country.

Adaptation and integration: the Department organizes the arrival and prompt accommodation of students of the preparatory department and first year, assists in choosing a mobile service provider, informs students on key issues of living in NNGASU dormitories, and familiarizes them with the conditions and requirements of the educational process and internal regulations.

Pedagogical support: the Department assists in choosing a field of study and organizing the academic process, provides additional resources for successful study, and offers consultations with instructors and advisors to overcome difficulties in learning and adaptation faced by foreign students.

Social events: the Department organizes cultural, sports, and recreational events to create a community among foreign students, assists in adapting to a new cultural environment, including organizing events that promote communication and acquaintance with local traditions.

Psychological support: the Department assists in organizing consultations and training sessions for foreign students at the Center for Social and Psychological Support of the Educational Process at NNGASU in cases of stress or adaptation problems.

Legal assistance: the Department provides consultations on legal status, employment, and other legal matters.
