Professor of the UNESCO chair Tatiana Sergeevna Ryzhova has been given the honorary title “Honorary worker of education of the Russian Federation” for the significant services and long conscientious work in the sphere of education.

A solemn ceremony of the certificate and badge presentation took place on November 29, 2019 during the meeting of the University Academic Council.

The main areas of Tatiana S. Ryzhova’s work at the UNESCO chair are study of city landscapes, preservation and restoration of cultural heritage of Nizhny Novgorod region.

For 26 years of her work at NNGASU Tatiana Ryzhova has successfully realized many Master courses and programmes, such as “Formation of the planning structure of historical-recreational zones”, “Designing town-planning landscapes”, “Sustainable development of town-planning landscapes with objects of cultural and natural heritage”, etc.
